Unique and unprecedented magnum size
Gill-type flat-side crankbaits were born !

The biggest advantage of the Kominami Gill Uchiwa is that it is not a consolidated body, but rather a single body with a large area to push the Uchiwa into the water as if it were a fan!
And by using a magnum crank weight and a gill-pop connected keel-type tail, we have succeeded in making the flat-side crank not fly as far as it does in the vastness of Lake Biwa!
Furthermore, the lure does not have the heavy reeling resistance that magnum cranks tend to have, and despite the fact that the lure is comfortable to reel all day long, the lure is firmly pushed through the water to keep it moving.
The secret to this is the slightly smaller base lip (lower lip), which allows water to flow into the upper jaw cup (upper lip), and the upper and lower lips both catch the water and dive firmly into the water, giving the lure a unique action despite its light reeling.
Huge split ring and treble hook (#3/0, so even 60cm over class lures are safe) acts as a low center of gravity balancer to further stabilize the action of the Uchiwa.

How to
The Kominami Gill Uchiwa is different from ordinary crankbaits.
The more weight you put on the rod, the shallower the depth of the lure will be. On the contrary, if the weight of the lure is not put on the rod, it dives very fast.
Don't think of the Kominami Gill Uchiwa as a crank bait, but rather reel it in as a swim jig or swimbait.
The ideal Uchiwa action is the speed at which the after-image silhouette of the Kominami Gill Uchiwa looks "most rounded" after a swim test, and this is the retrieve speed at which a huge bass will go the furthest.Â
