YMC was the color used on the first Dog-X and Vision 95 starting in 2002.
YMC stands for "yellow metallic coach," a classic coloring based on SILVER BLACK OB with a bright yellow coach dog pattern added. At first glance, it seems to be an appealing color that emphasizes intense flashing, but when backlit, the M (metal) holo on the side of the lure changes to a natural color that transmits light. The combination of this exquisite flashing effect and the distinctive yellow coach is intended to induce reaction bites.
The best time to use this color is during daytime highlights, when bass begin to see through the lure. The orange berry color is strong in muddy conditions and will work as a killer bait to kill tough big fish that do not respond to elaborate realistic colors.Â
