The “IS WASP 60 HIGHWAY STAR” is a factory-tuned model designed exclusively for the tournament, which Katsutaka Imae tuned up from the original model in order to use shad with bait finesse on hard bottom in shallow water.
Shallow cranks are too strong, and crayfish-conscious vibrations are not responding well.
In that situation, the fast reeling of the IS WASP 60 HIGHWAY STAR is especially effective at sluice gates and riprap where baits of about 5cm are frequently seen at around 1m. It can be used with either bait or spinning finesse, and is the original shallow-water shad that is the easiest to use at bank fishing.
The aerodynamically balanced body delivers overwhelmingly long casting performance and outstanding accuracy.
The curved shape of the body line pushes water softly and largely, realizing the power wobbling that is a characteristic of the IS WASP.
A fixed center of gravity is adopted, eliminating center-of-gravity movement sound.
