SK is a clear base color that was used mainly on Megabass topwater plugs. It was first released in 2002 with the Popmax, and has since been added to the color lineup of the PopX, Giant Dog X, and Prop Darter 80. Although not a realistic color based on the image of an actual baitfish, it is an extremely simple natural color with a silver bone pattern on the clear body and light orange spots on the back and throat. The "SK" stands for "Spook Killer," a name derived from the lure's ability to fool even the biggest bass on the toughest clear lakes.
In the past, the SK has been used in short-lived spot production on items other than topwater plugs such as the SR-X Cyclone and Flap Slap, but this is the first time it has been used on a wide range of items, making it a must-see item in the lineup of respectable colors to date.
