BIG BATS that float without hesitation !

Inheriting the fully automatic staggered system of the WADDLE BATS, the BIG BATS has been enlarged to enhance its appeal.
Just reeling it in at a constant speed automatically produces an irregular staggered action just below the water's surface, reminiscent of the tuned Big Bud by Katsutaka Imae, which once dominated the world. The high buoyancy of the large body, the random staggered action, and the metallic sound of the blades are so overwhelmingly powerful that they attract bass migrating in the middle layer to bite on the surface, independent of anything else.

How to
■ Steady Retrieve
Just reel it in at a constant, normal speed, about the speed of a person walking, without any slow or abrupt retrieve.
The BIG BATS has a unique “rotating staggered flap” effect that produces a sudden and unexpected dart motion (staggered action). The frequency of staggered action depends on the retrieve speed, so change the retrieve speed according to the bass conditions at the time. The key to taking advantage of spontaneous staggered action is to reel at a constant speed without artificially manipulating the rod or reel.

■ The most fun way to use it is just below the surface
First, follow the movement of the BIG BATS with your eyes to make sure they do not dive too deep, and reel it in slowly to your feet “without letting it get staggered action” (like a normal crank).
If the lure becomes invisible, raise the rod and pull slowly so that the lure is visible just below the surface until the end.
On the next cast, while keeping an eye on the BIG BATS just below the water's surface, rapidly increase the retrieve speed by one or two reel revolutions as you pass the sweet spot of interest. If the irregular staggered action characteristic of BIG BATS occurs at that moment, it is OK, and the reel will again pull slowly just below the water's surface.
The key is to create a sudden stagger with a momentary change in speed at the right spot. This technique is especially effective in the after-season when fishing in vertical cover or near weeds, and when the staggered action is effective, you will witness bass biting up to the surface. For this technique, we recommend a high gear reel of about 7:1, which allows you to create a staggered trigger with only a slight steering wheel operation.

Waddle Blade System (PAT.P)

This is a system in which the waddle blade spontaneously rotates, catching and balancing the water like a lip. A small blade is swung at the base of the rear hook, causing it to randomly make a half to one rotation. As the blade makes one centrifugal rotation and comes forward, it catches the water as if it were a lip, causing the lure to lose its balance and fall over. This is what causes the staggered action.
As soon as the stagger occurs, the blades rotate to release the water, and the lure regains its balance immediately. Therefore, even if the trajectory is shaken by the staggered motion, the lure quickly recovers its normal motion and regains its balance. As a result, the lure rarely breaks the surface of the water.

Tail Hole

If the heaton loosens due to repeated fights with bass, etc., it can be fastened here with instant adhesive. The best length of the heaton is 8 mm from the body to the tip of the heaton.
