The “VOLADOR” named after the Spanish word for flying fish, is a horizontally sinking, heavyweight wood plug for targeting tuna and dolphinfish. Its low center of gravity and flat belly keep it stable when sinking horizontally, when landing on the water, and under a variety of conditions including wind, current, and line slack.
The sharply cut nose improves water drainage and the PE line set action responds agilely to the angler's intention. Flat surfaces on both sides face slightly downward for a fish's point of view.
The “Natural Sinking/NS” model was developed to create a more realistic appearance of a dying bait drifting in the sea, while maintaining a stable flight posture and swim balance. It has a realistic sinking speed and fall posture, and is more agile to rod work.
