GP Crack Spawn is an appealing color that has been used on the first generation Griffon and Deep X series since the mid-1990s.
As the name suggests, this coloring was designed to attract spawning fish in early spring, and the bright orange-red flickering effect on the back of the fish is intended to trigger reaction bites. It has sister colors Crack Jungle, Crack Bomb, Crack Sand, and Crack Lime Chart, but this is the color scheme that places the most emphasis on visibility. At first glance, it appears to be a translucent reddish-brown color, but the GP (Guanium Phantom) holographic overlay on the clear yellow side of the lure makes it blend in well with the water, making it a target for big bass that are often too lazy to fish on clear lakes.
Despite its popularity, this color has not been reissued in production for a long time, making it one of the most popular respectable colors to date.
